Situated on Princess Street in Aberystwyth, Wales Ystwyth Books is a small two-story bookshop that holds far more books then you would expect when looking at it from the outside. Whether you're a local in need of your next read or a university student looking for course mandated texts Ystwyth Books should be your first port of call.
Upon entering you will find children's books, Welsh language texts and shelves full of local interest, fiction, biographies and the counter - I will admit I did not spend nearly as much time down here as I did up the stairs. As soon as you walk in the door there is a narrow staircase with books stacked alongside it and a packed shelf right at the top that beckons you to ascend and discover a little piece of heaven. Up on this floor you will find everything from theology to photography, Greek classics to military history, poetry, plays and anything else you can think of. Here you'll find books you didn't even know you were looking for and loose hours combing through the shelves.
