Founded in 1768 Hodges Figgis is Ireland's oldest booksellers, the current bookshop consists of four floors with a lift as well as stairs to move between them. A cultural icon, Hodges Figgis frequently hosts events as well as boasting a large selection of genres with a focus on Irish authors across them all.
Hodges Figgis is now part of the Waterstones bookstore chain, majority owned by the US-based firm Elliott Investment Management.
